In this, our 3rd, Can Do Places podcast series, “Sixty Seconds of Inspiration“, we ask our community superhero, Eleanor MacKinnon to give us her top tips for a successful community project.
Eleanor is Project Coordinator for The Rockfield Centre in Oban.
On the 13th of May 2015, Oban Communities Trust officially took ownership of the former Rockfield School building in the centre of Oban with the ambition to transform it into a creative cultural hub for the town. You can find out more about their journey and how The Rockfield Centre came about and it’s successful journey to opening, on their website.
Amongst Eleanor’s tips are that you need to have energy and a belief. If you don’t have a belief in the project it will go no where.
