Delighted to hear that the Woodlands Community Development Trust in the West End of Glasgow, having “stalled” with the Woodlands Workspace project that Sam Macgregor spoke about during the Challenge (2014), have now got official “permission to use” the gap site from the local council and hope to sign a 15-year lease with them in the near future.
They celebrated by holding a magical night-time community event on the site where they plan to build a terrace of temporary, low-impact artists’ studios and a community hub. www.woodlandscommunitygarden.org.uk
